AMERICA 250 CHALLENGE ENTRY FORM

This Challenge is meant to encourage entrants to use their various needle skills to depict what our country's 250th birthday signifies to the maker. 

I wish to enter this item and agree to abide by the contest rules and viewers’ choice decisions.

Drawing mode selected. Drawing requires a mouse or touchpad. For keyboard accessibility, select Type or Upload.

  • Choose a theme, a word, a song, etc. as inspiration              

  • Any needle or fiber art or any combination may be used, i.e. quilting, applique, cross stitch, 

  • embroidery (hand or machine), felting, crochet, needlepoint, etc.

  • Size may not exceed 24.5 x 24.5 inches or other dimensions less than or equal to 600 square inches in area.

  • Challengers are limited to one entry.

ENTRY GUIDELINES

Please read and follow the entry form instructions carefully!
 

  1. Completing and submitting the entry form on-line via the ECQFE website is preferred (https://www.elkhartquiltfiber.org).

  3. Alternately, a completed and printed entry form (with photo) may be mailed to:

    • Elkhart County Quilt & Fiber Experience
      400 East Bristol Street, Suite 3
      Elkhart, IN 46514

  4. Include 1 photo with the entry form.

    • Photos should be 4” x 6”

    • Photo shall be a full view, showing all finished edges

    • If entry form is mailed, the photo shall be attached to the upper left corner of the entry form

  5. Complete ALL sections, use one form for each item submitted. 

  6. Note there is no entry fee for the America 250 Challenge.

  7. Please download or print a copy of your entry form to save for your personal record. 

ENTRY FORM INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Entries must be delivered to the event site on June 2, 2026, between 4:00-7:00 p.m.

  2. Entries must be clean and in show condition (no animal hair or odor)

  3. All entries must be permanently identified on the back.

  4. All entries must have been made within the last five years.

  5. All decisions by the viewers are final. 

  6. Entries will be displayed at the Elkhart County Quilt & Fiber Experience event in the Community Center on the Elkhart County 4-H Fairgrounds, 17746 CR 34, Goshen, IN on June 4-5, 2026.

  7. All entries must be picked up June 5, 2026, between 5:00-6:30 p.m.!  Thank You!
